John Identifies Jesus As The Son of God Sent To Take Away The Sin of The World

²⁹ On the next day he sees Jesus coming toward him. And he says, “Look— the Lamb of God, the One taking-away the sin of the world. ³⁰ This One is the One about Whom I said, ‘A man is coming after me Who has become ahead of me, because He was before me’. ³¹ And I did not know Him. But I came baptizing with water for this reason— that He might be revealed to Israel”.
